I got paid by Mahalo for answering questions. I started late in the month so I only got $17 for 15 questions since I did a couple of bonus questions that were worth a little more. I love being a Mahalo Guru! It is so much fun and if you do enough questions every day you can earn good money. I am trying to get to 20 questions a day for $1.25 a question since I do the bonus questions.
With all of the income I have coming in now with titling for Demand Studios, writing articles and Mahalo Guru questions, I should be able to get our bills paid up and buy a few things for the house. We are also planning on getting a new trailer that my husband's cousin has for sale. It is bigger than the one we have now and I want it so bad.
Anyway, I have to get back to work but I wanted to post that Mahalo does pay and they pay on time and well. They pay twice a month so the money builds up.

I am pretty bummed about it but I have a lot of other jobs to do every day anyway so I am not going to lose any sleep over it. It was a fun job while it lasted but oh well. I really didn't have much time to put into it anyway since I have titling and other gigs I do. We were told that Mahalo Guru was slowing down because of what is going on with Google. We were given a chance to take a survey to let them know what our expertise were but I didn't fill it out. I am not even going to try to get contacted back. While it was a fun job, I don't have time for it. I will miss the little side gig but it is fine.
Not much to write about tonight besides that. I am still doing titling for Demand Studios and am trying to get back to writing for Hubpages and AC. I got into Bright Hub and am waiting on them to have some articles that I can write about up for me to claim. Other than that I am mostly writing in my other two blogs, Rambling Thoughts and Living With Depression since I don't have much to say in this blog lately. Postloop Portal: Get Paid to Post in Forums! They Paid Me!

It has been a long time since I had anything to post about since I have only been doing only titling for Demand Studios. I found something that is worth posting about and wanted to share it with everyone who reads this. It is called Postloop Portal and they will pay you to post in different forums through the Portal. Here is how it works!
First you have to go to the Postloop Portal and sign up for free. Then you go by their instructions which tell you to first subscribe to the Postloop Portal. After subscribing to them, you will then need to make 10 posts in their forum. Once you are done making those 10 posts, you have to wait up to 24 hours to see if you have been approved to post in other forums and get paid. It takes UP to 24 hours but it only took them an hour to approve me. They will give you a rating from 1-5 and the rating you get will depend on how you make your posts. Try to make your posts at least 3 sentences long with no grammar or spelling errors. Also, once you get a rating, depending on how high it is will tell you how much per point you make per post. I was approved at 4.7 and I earn 5 cents a point. I have already made 200 posts and have made $10 from them. You can cash out at 100 points which depending on your rating and earning level, will probably be $5. I waited until I got to $10 because they do take a 37 cent fee out when they pay you. So I earned $9.41.

So the new year is upon us once again. Wow, where did the time go? So this year will make 5 years of freelance writing for me. I have been a freelance content writer for 5 years now and have been a freelance BMR writer for only a few short months. I do believe it is time for something new and more exciting. Falling to sleep like a princess in my canopy bed

When I was a little girl, I remember going over to my cousin's house and seeing that she had a canopy bed, just like a princess! I always wanted one after that and I never had one. Well, it's about time that I give my bedroom a makeover, so I decided to buy myself a canopy bed and finally sleep just like a princess. I decided to get some other princess-like decorating tips that would keep me from looking like I have a little girl's bedroom and when I was doing that I saw the site homeproimprovement.com. I forgot to post but last week I received another payment from Postloop Portal! Another easy $10 in my Paypal account. Read my earlier posts to find out all about Postloop Portal and how you can sign up to post in forums, have fun and make money at the same time.
Also, three places I recommend signing up for and applying to work are Odesk, Elance and Guru. I have two jobs through Odesk and one through Guru so far. I had a job through Elance but had to file a dispute to get paid from the employer so I don't work that job anymore. However, I still look for work on there because not everyone is like the person who tried to steal my work without paying.
Here are some tips:
Make sure the employer has a good feedback score and that they are not new and have paid people already.
Write a professional cover letter to apply to jobs.
Big high and what you think you are worth. Stay away from the jobs where they are interviewing people for low rates because they will want to get away with paying as low as possible. Just bid what you think you are worth and if they want quality work, they will contact you for an interview.
Be professional and only bid on jobs where you know you will be able to do the work in the time frame they want it done. Don't just be a happy bidder and bid on jobs just because you want to. You want a good feedback score from your clients so you can get even better jobs in the future.
Remember all of these tips and go find that great job!

It looks like we are becoming one of those families that is all about going green! It happened rather slowly. First, I bought us glass reusable water bottles to start using instead of plastic water bottles. i realized we were each using about three water bottle a day and that was a lot of money we were wasting. Then we decided that we would start recycling the paper and plastic we do use. I don't understand anyone who doesn't recycle now. It is so easy and can make such a difference for our universe. I know I want my grand kids to be able to go and play outside one day.
We just recently looked into getting our energy through Wallis electricity companies. This is right up our alley right now because it is going to be cost efficient and better for the environment. I hope that more people will join the 'go green' wagon. You can make such a difference even with the small changes that you make. Choose one thing to focus on and make the change.

If you are a writer like I am then chances are you already have private clients. Unless you're just starting out. If that is the case you will want to keep reading this blog post to read about where I have found my private clients.
I write articles, blog posts and BMR posts. However, BMR has shut down for now because of Google de-indexing them. I used to have several PC's for BMR posts and now I am down to one because although I am writing BMR posts for him, he says he is going to submit them to another article directory. He pays me upfront for the work I do and I am actually in the middle of work for him now. Which means after writing this blog posts and posting an article to my Examiner page, I have to get back to it because I have 100 BMR posts due by Saturday.
Anyway, the places I have had luck with since I got released from working with Demand Media Studios include Elance, Odesk and Guru. I have also had luck posting my own ads on Craigslist. As a matter of fact, yesterday I posted an ad and got an email from someone within 2 hours. They still haven't gotten back to me on whether they want to pursue a working relationship so I just got done posting two more ads and am now playing the waiting game.
My main client I met on Elance just gave me a raise yesterday from 1.5 cents a word to 4.5 cents a word because the client we are working for likes my work so much. The guy I am working for brings clients and writers together sort of like Textbroker and the like. The client he matched me with likes my work so much he does not want anyone else writing his articles and although I only asked for 2 cents to start out with he decided to give me 4.5 cents a word instead. What a wonderful feeling!
So try Elance, Odesk (although they have some low paying clients on this one) Guru and Craigslist to find some private writing clients. Don't be afraid to ask for the amount of pay you think you are worth. I know I am not working for any less than 4 cents a word anymore. I am worth at least that and maybe even more.

I admit I didn't make much but I made $39.10 for last weeks work. I only wrote 20 articles with a couple of rejected ones that I posted on Hubpages for revenue share. However, I am almost to Premium writer status. If I get all 5 stars on my next articles I might even jump to Elite status. I really do love this site!
I admit I cringe at the low pay in the beginning but as long as I keep writing high quality articles and keep getting rated 4 or 5 stars for them, I will be making a decent wage every week. Configurazione di netcat su busybox per fare reverse telnet su una console remota e avere accesso ad un database sqlite. Questo permette di avere accesso al database di una macchina di cui non si conosce l'ip e che è sotto firewall.
Utilizzata Busybox 1.2.1. Entrare in "Networking Utilities"e attivare "nc" e "gaping security hole" (altrimenti l'opzione -e non viene attivata).
Sul server da cui si vuole accedere alla console digitare:
#nc -vv -l -p 80
Sulla console creare il comando eseguibile opendb.sh:
#!/bin/sh
sqlite /usr/secure/database/manager994.db
quindi eseguire il comando
#nc -e opendb.sh xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 80
dove xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx è l'ip del server

Istruzioni per scaricare con mirc:
1-avviare mirc
2-prima di collegare il mirc andare su impostazioni, server, nuovo server:
-nome canale = nome di fantasia, metti ad esempio _oltreirc in modo che ti venga fuori come primo nella lista, altrimenti li ordina per nome.
-indirizzo = irc.oltreirc.net
-porta : lascia quella che c'è (6667)
2A- Configurare quali file il mirc puo ricevere. Dovrebbe esserci sulle impostazioni un menu con indicato dcc, in quel menu dovresti trovare la cartella dove mirc salva i file ed un menu a tendina nel quale configurare le estensioni dei file che mirc deve ricevere (inserisci li le estensioni piu note e digli che deve ricevere solo quelle, accept only! ). Sempre in quel menu devi configurare che se scarica un file inizi in automatico senza chiedere conferma e che se sta scaricando un file già esistente faccia il resume.
3-clicca ok e vai sempre nelle impostazioni nella prima schermata di connessione.
4-seleziona server ALL e successivamente a finaco nel menu a tendina selezione il servere che hai appena creato, lo troverai con il nome che gli hai dato, _oltreirc
5- seleziona quel server e clicca su connetti. Puoi impostare anche il nick come in una normale chat.
6- a questo punta mirc si collegherà alla rete. Dopo una decina di secondi quanto ti conferma il collegamento, digita il commando /list. Questo ti permetterà di visualizzare tutti i canali disponibili.
7- a questo punto prendi in considerazione i primi 4-5 canali quelli con piu utenti. Tra i primi dovrebbe essereci OCEAN. Doppio clic su quel canale e ti si aprirà una nuova finestra. Ora sei dentro.
8- Per evitare di farti calciare fuori a pedate saluta sempre il canale e non chiedere mai informazioni nel canale dove si scarica. Se ti servono info scorri la schermata dei canali ed alla fine troverai sempre i canali di help dedicati ad ogni canale specifico.
9- quando sei dentro nel canale digita il conamndo !list e successivamente ti verrà visualizzato nella finestra del canale un link internet.
10- Apri il link e ti verrà visualizzato una lista con in testa un campo di ricerca. Cerca quello che vuoi e il risultato sarà una pagina con i file disponibili nei vari BOT.
11-Ora vedi che il file è sul bot ad esempio "Oceanlnewsl001" e viene identificato dal pack #5. A questo punto ritorna in mirc e sul canale ocean scorri il menu dove ci sono tutti gli utenti collegati fino a trovare il bot "Oceanlnewsl001". Doppio clic sopra e si apre una finestra. A questo punto inserisci il comando per scaricare xdcc send #numeropack, in questo caso xdcc send #5.
12-se il bot a porte libere ti lascia scaricare e ti apparirà una finestra di inizio download, altrimenti se non parte niente o hai sbagliato a configurare quali file il mirc può ricevere oppure vuol dire che ti sei messo in coda per scaricare! per vedere se sei in coda va nella pagina del canale e ti dovrebbe comparire "sei in posizione 15" o un'altro numero che definisca la tua posizione in cosa!
13- se vuoi eliminarti dalla coda vai nel bot e scrivi il comando xdcc remove.

When programming with Serial Ports, is often useful to have 2 Virtual Serial Ports communicating each other for debugging, without the need of a Null Modem serial cable connected to phisical serial ports of the same Pc, or connected to a second Pc.
What you need is VSPD!
Download the RPM or tar.gz packet from http://www.tibbo.com/vspdl.php
Install it following the instructions, then you should find the vspd.conf file in /usr/local/vspd/etc/ folder.
Open it and edit as follow (modify the IP 192.168.1.3 with your IP address):

How to fix the bad resolution of Sanyo Xacti videos

Vlc 0.8.6c version displays video recorded with my Sanyo Xacti C4 with a 320X240 resolution, instead of the correct 640X480.
The older versions of Vlc have not this problem that is related to a wrong information in the file. This information is used by the new version of Vlc, and not by the older versions.
